The micro carbide Printed circuit drill is ideal for high density multilayer circuit boards. Printed circuit board laminate is usually an FR4 glass fibre laminate, highly abrasive and requires the use of specialist carbide tungsten micro drill bits. Carbide micro drill bits are far superior when drilling holes in PCB laminate material FR2, FR4, and offer much longer service life than equivalent steel drill bits. ST Tungsten Carbide micro drill bits have the universal standard 1/8” (3.175mm) shank.
